1. Mismatched GPUs
All GPUs installed on the worker must be of the same base model. While GPUs from different manufacturers (e.g., ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI) are allowed, the specific GPU model must remain consistent across all units. Below are examples of supported and unsupported configurations:
- Supported: 4x NVIDIA RTX 4090
- Supported: 6x NVIDIA RTX 3090
- Unsupported: 3x NVIDIA RTX 4080 + 1x NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super
- Unsupported: 2x NVIDIA RTX 3070 + 2x NVIDIA RTX 3090
2. Hardware Changes
After a worker is online and connected to our network, changes to the GPU model and number of GPUs is no longer allowed. Modifying the GPU model or the number of GPUs will result in the worker being flagged as unsupported. If changes are made, restoring the original GPU configuration may resolve the unsupported status.
3. Too Many GPUs
Each worker is currently limited to a maximum of 8 GPUs. Installing more than 8 GPUs on a single worker will cause it to be flagged as unsupported, as the configuration exceeds the allowed limit.
4. GPU Drivers
Using beta, experimental, or non-recommended driver versions may result in your GPU not being detected. If one or more GPUs on your worker are not recognized, the worker will be flagged as unsupported. Updating or rolling back to one of the recommended driver versions listed below and restarting the worker will usually resolve the issue.
- Linux: NVIDIA Driver 535.xx or 550.xx
- Windows: NVIDIA Driver 552.44
Although newer NVIDIA driver releases may function correctly, we currently recommend using the versions listed above to ensure maximum stability and optimal performance.
