If your worker has failed five consecutive Quality Check (QC) jobs for vRAM testing, you would have been previously notified. Despite this notification, continued failures indicate underlying issues preventing cluster stability during the testing process.
1️⃣ Causes of QC Job Failures
- Inability to maintain stability within the test cluster.
- Misconfigured network settings or resource management issues.
- Unsupported or suboptimal GPU driver versions.
It's mandatory to pass vRAM test to be Eligible for Block Rewards
2️⃣ To check your drivers Version
Open CMD/Terminal and type the following:
Nvidia-Smi
3️⃣ Verify IPv4 Connection
- Ensure that your connection uses IPv4, as the platform does not currently support IPv6.
- Check your network settings to confirm IPv4 is enabled and active.
Note: Currently we do not support IPv6.
4️⃣ Use Reliable DNS Settings
- Configure your DNS to enhance reliability and avoid name resolution issues. Recommended options:
- Google DNS:
8.8.8.8
and8.8.4.4
- Cloudflare DNS:
1.1.1.1
and1.0.0.1
- Google DNS:
5️⃣ Downgrade GPU Drivers
- Ensure your GPU drivers are set to IO recommended / stable versions.
- Linux - 550.xx.xx
- Windows - 552.44
- Refer to your GPU manufacturer’s documentation for steps to downgrade driver versions.
6️⃣ Monitor Resource Utilization
- Check your GPU’s vRAM and other resources to ensure they are not being utilized by local processes.
- Keep the device utilization within acceptable thresholds during testing.
- Click here for detailed device utilization thresholds.
- Disable VPNs and Proxies
- Disconnect any VPNs or proxies that may be active, as these can interfere with cluster stability.
- Connect directly to the internet using an unrestricted, stable connection. LAN
Update to the Latest Binaries
- Confirm that you are using the latest platform binaries to connect. Older binaries may lack required stability and performance optimizations.
